Ogun Central Senatorial Hopeful, Dr. Soyoola Meets Abeokuta South APC Excos, Ward Chairmen

Ogun Central Senatorial hopeful,, Dr. Emmanuel Olusola Soyoola (EOS), has promised to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of his Senatorial District if considered for the ticket.

Dr. Soyoola, a medical expert made the promise during a meeting with some excos and 15 ward chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta South Local Government. 

He also reiterated his commitment to work towards towards improving the health of his people and sponsor bills to that effect.

According to him, health sector is very key in improving the welfare of the people, saying health is wealth. 

He said: "We will work towards improving the health and well-being of our people. This is a key aspect of human life that government at all levels must give priority. By the special grace of God, we will sponsor bills to this effect and bring dividends of democracy to our people in Ogun Central. 

"We are here today to seek for your support and cooperation. I strongly believe that together we can achieve this vision. supported by the people of Abeokuta South."

In their separate reactions, the party excos and chairmen promised to work together with Dr. Soyoola on the mandate while praying to God for the realization of the mission.

They urged him not to renege on his promises if elected as Ogun Central Senator in 2027.

My Commitment Not Guaranteed After Akeredolu’s Death, Says Ex-gov’s Aide

Doyin Odebowale, the former Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties and Strategy to late Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has explained why he resigned following the governor’s death. Odebowale along with the Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, Aminu Raimi; and the Special Assistant on Photography to the former governor, Olawale Abolade, resigned following the passing of Akeredolu on Wednesday in Germany.
