Lagos State Crushes 1,500 Seized Motorcycles

The destruction of 1,500 seized motorcycles was carried out yesterday on the premises of  Lagos State Task Force, Oshodi, BEYOND AFRICA gathered.

The destruction was observed by the state Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, along with the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Wale Musa.

The Lagos State Government posted images of the exercise on its X account on Monday.

The caption read, “Commissioner for #lagosMOT1, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, with the Permanent Secretary, Wale Musa, at the crushing of 1,500 seized commercial motorcycles at the Lagos State Task Force premises on Monday.”

Osun LG Election: Ife North Students Organize Debate For Chairmanship Aspirants

The National Forum of Ife North Students has concluded plans to organise a debate for the three Chairmanship Aspirants in the local government ahead of the forthcoming Osun 2025 LG election. According to the students in a statement made available to BEYOND AFRICA on Sunday, the debate would allow the leading aspirants to present their plans and visions for the community and also allow residents to engage directly with the aspiring leaders.
