'As a Coach, I will not Drop my Player While Going for a Tournament' ~Iwo PDP Chairman Endorses L&K For Second Term

In what seems to be an endorsement for the second term bid of Hon. Lukman Mudashiru politically known as L&K, the lawmaker representing Iwo/Ayedire/Ola-Oluwa local government areas at the House of Representatives, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman in Iwo local government, Alhaji Tiamiyu Alidu said he won't change his best player while going for a tournament.

Alhaji Alidu made the pronouncement during an official unveiling of a scholarship program organized for students across the Iwo/Ayedire/Ola-Oluwa federal Constituency sponsored by the lawmaker.

The PDP Chairman who expressed satisfaction towards the activities of the lawmaker described his achievements as unprecedented in the history of the Constituency.

In his words: "We give thanks to Almighty Allah for giving us a representative who cares about the future of his Constituents. On this, I want to say a big thank you to Hon. Mudashiru Lukman Oluwakayode Alani for sponsoring our children to higher institutions of learning.

"I'm very proud to be the chairman of PDP in Iwo local government at this time. Hon. L&K is a good representation to our constituency."

Speaking on the second-term ambition of the MHR, the chairman noted that the party members and stakeholders should make a better choice by picking who will serve the interest of the people.

"I want you to know that a good coach will never leave his best player when going for a tournament. I want to appeal to our people to see ourselves as one. I'm not saying people should not contest with him.

"But I want to say the party should pick a better choice among them. They should pick who will serve them better. As the chairman, I cannot say people should not come out and contest. But with what I'm seeing today, I as a coach will not leave my best player behind.

"Great people reason alike, my counterparts from Ayedire and Ola-Oluwa Local governments are in tandem with me in the same thoughts, L&K is making us proud and we will not for any reason disappoint our people in selecting the best for them". He said.

Recall that Hon. Mudashiru has also sponsored about 102 students in his constituency to study at the Federal College College of Education, Iwo, Osun, and 75 students to Ahman Patigi University, Kwara State State who are currently in class and also donated a sum of N2 million for the ongoing construction of Oluwo stadium.

He urged the stakeholders in the party to give him a necessary boost if he chooses to contest again.
