Osun Federal Lawmaker Donates N2m For Construction Of Oluwo Stadium

The lawmaker representing Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency, Hon. Mudashiru Lukman (L&K) has donated a whooping sum of two million naira to support the construction of the ongoing Oluwo Stadium. 

In a show of exemplary motivation and commitment to youths and sports development, the lawmaker on Wednesday January 14, led all council chairmen in his federal constituency, political leaders, and sports enthusiasts to watch the final march of the Telu Cup Football Competition played between Supreme FC and Telu FC teams.

The final match, held at Oluwo Stadium, followed months of preliminary and elimination stages of the tournament that involved 29 teams in Iwo.

The lawmaker also made cash donations to Telu FC who won the tournament and Supreme FC, the runner-up of the tournament. 

"I want to appreciate Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdul-Rasheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu 1 for his love for sports and promotion of talents in Iwoland, Oluwo has proven to be an exceptional king with all his programs. 

"In addition to my earlier one million naira donation to the Ongoing Construction of Oluwo Stadium during the last Iwo Day Celebration, I want to add another one million to the project, this is aside from the already fulfilled five million naira donated through me by my counterpart from Oyo State, Engr. Remi Oseni". Lukman said.
