Yayi, Dende, Olaotan, Others Honoured At ACHSO 45th Anniversary/Founder’s Day.

Senator Olamilekan Adeola popularly known as Yayi, Business mogul and hotelier Chief Egungbohun Dende; Barrister Olusegun Olaotan  and other notable founding fathers of Area community High School Owode Yewa. Hon. Akande Muftau Ajibola, are among the numerous dignitaries to have graced the anniversary of the Area Community  High School (ACHSO), Owode, held on the 26th December 2023.

The event kick-start with Annual General meeting. While addressing the members at the AGM, Barrister Olusegun Olaotan charged members to be more committed to the service of alma mata, he noted that there are lots of benefits.

Mr. Wole Adeosun FCIA Global President of Area Community High School Old Students Association (ACHSO), Owode,  Ogun state, has lamented the congestion of the public secondary schools in the state. 
He expressed this concern while in delivery his welcome address on the activities to mark the 45th founder’s day anniversary of the school. 

Adeosun explained that the school established in 1978 and is currently yarning for all our support both home and abroad.

According to him, the pioneer Senior Prefect Boy Adele Kolawole Lawal Mobolorunduro KLM, the chairman BOT ACHSO  has the reiterated the development that has been going on in the school with the support of his colleagues, Hon. Abiodun Ishaq Akinlade Member House of Representatives representing Yewa South / Ipokia Federal Constituency and some notable Achsosan Ambassadors home and Abroad for their well meaningful contributions through facilitated of projects in the school.

He added that 90 percent infrastructure in the school was built by the Old student association.

Hon. Kolawole Lawal Mobolorunduro applauded Senator Adeola Olamilekan for his laudable contribution to the school as the present ongoing storey building classroom as he called on the government to improve the standard of education by investing more in the sector, especially infrastructure.

While addressing the members of the Old Student, , Hon. Abiodun Ishaq Akinlade (AIA) has demonstrated his satisfaction as the centre stage the Area Community High School Old Students compared to the last 40 years.

He appealed to the government, PTA Executives and the old Students of the great school to be a partner in progress for the rebuild of the association, adding that the administration of Tinubu is ready to pay more serious attention to the education sector if Nigeria must develop.

Award of recognition was honoured to founding fathers as part of their contributions to the development of the school and Posthumous Award in honour of ACHSO heroes.

45th founder’s day included commissioning of a borehole constructed by Class 83 set of the association.
